DIVISOR WAR

The Ultimate Mathematical Arcade Game

■ CONTROLS

Gestures (Touch Screen):

• Spawn New Piece: Tap the screen

• Rotate Piece: Tap the screen (while falling)

• Move Left / Right: Swipe Left / Swipe Right

• Hard Drop: Swipe Down

• Shift Numbers: Swipe Up (rotates values inside the cells)

■ GAMEPLAY LOGIC

Each cell of a falling piece contains an integer number. When a piece lands on top of others, overlapping cells from different pieces interact:

• Common Divisors: If two touching cells share a common divisor, both numbers are divided by it.

• Block Deletion: If a cell's value drops to 1, it disappears.

• Fragmentation (Debris): When cells disappear, the original piece breaks apart into independent single-cell blocks called "Debris".

Note: Cells belonging to the same intact piece cannot react with each other until that piece breaks.

Chain Reactions & Stabilization:

Before the next piece can be spawned, a stabilization phase occurs:

1. Floating debris and unsupported pieces fall down.

2. They interact again via common divisors.

3. Reactions are processed row by row, starting from the bottom up.

4. If a row triggers reactions, everything collapses downward, and the bottom-up check runs again.

The next piece will only be available once all blocks completely stabilize.

Scoring & Row Clears:

• A row consisting only of Debris is cleared, but awards 0 points.

• Points are earned based on the value of the divisor in each reaction, plus a flat bonus for each piece broken.

• A Height Bonus is added based on the Y-coordinate: breaking pieces higher up awards more points due to the increased risk!

• Final scores are multiplied by your level's difficulty factors (numerical range and required broken pieces).

• Scores are only saved for Completed Levels. Uncompleted ones will only display the number of broken pieces.

Game Over Conditions:

The game ends if the grid becomes saturated or if a specific number of pieces are broken (the game tracks the act of breaking a piece, not the full deletion of its cells). "Open" levels have no breaking limits, but pieces will fall at an ever-increasing speed!

Special Features & Strategic Aids

To help you tackle higher difficulties, Divisor War includes powerful mechanics not found in classic arcade games:

• Manual Spawning: New pieces never spawn automatically. Take your time to analyze the grid after a chain reaction before tapping to release the next block.

• Strategic Pause: You can pause the game mid-fall, but it will cost a penalty of 10 points per second.

• Number Shifting: Swipe up to cycle the numbers across the cells of your falling piece to line up the perfect mathematical match.

• The Bomb: Earned every 2,000 points. It destroys all cells within its blast radius and completely removes any Debris with prime numbers higher than 10. Unused bombs reward 1,000 points each at Game Over! (Note: Bomb kills do not generate score points).

• Smart Preview: If you have 0 bombs and the top-center columns become heavily congested, the Next Piece preview will reveal the exact numbers inside its cells ahead of time.

• Dynamic Scaling: On harder levels, the bomb's explosion radius increases, and the smart preview activates earlier. High-difficulty multipliers also help you reach bonus thresholds much faster.

• Filtered Primes: Numerical ranges automatically exclude prime numbers higher than half of the current level max (e.g., a 2-20 range will wisely exclude 11, 13, 17, and 19).
